Ported from Fargo 0.1.x by Skip Jordan. Clone of the classic game for the Atari, Amiga, PC, Nintendo, and Gameboy. Objective is to search each cave and collect as many jewels as possible, while dodging falling boulders and other enemies, in a short time peroid. Required libraries: flib, gray4lib.

Attention span: 10/10 lots of levels = lots of fun
Controls: 9/10 sometimes the big blue thumb pad is a bit unresponsive
Implementation: 10/10 Awesome speed is a bit of a problem, but I don't mind
Overall: 10/10 One of the best
Boulderdash is a very good implementation of the original Commodore game for the TI-92. The object of the game is to collect all the crystals. Your obstacle is the rocks that can fall on you after you remove the ground under them. It is a very enjoyable game and with many levels you'll be entertained a long time.
This game was one of the first for fargo which makes it very impressive. It is one of the best implemented games in existance. It's flawless grayscale graphics add a sparkle to the game play. If the speed reduction bothers you, they can be turned off, though. The details on this game are very nice too. If you stand in a spot for a long period of time, the character taps his foot at you. This game is definately one of the best, and I would recommend trying it out. |
