|
Description
|
Phoenix is an advanced shoot-em-up game for the TI-89, TI-92, and TI-92 Plus. This game has very smooth gameplay (31+ frames per second) with many objects onscreen. Its features include many different types of enemies, many different levels, the ability to buy additional items, eight possible weapons for your ship, game saving, a high score table, multiple difficulty levels, multiple ships the player can purchase, and multiple speeds. The game only takes about 16K of your memory. It is supplied with full source code. The program may be copied or modified without any restrictions. Don't forget to also check out Platinum Edition, an enhanced version of this game, and Mercury, the sequel.

Phoenix. What person who owns a TI-92+ and in hold of all of his/her capabilities has never heard of it? Very few, I'd risk saying. Well, for those who haven't, I'll try to explain.
Phoenix is a spaceship shoot-em-up game, featuring an awesome gameplay. There are various weapons at your disposal, which you can buy after you have gathered enough money from killing enemies. The enemies get tougher as the game evolves, and the game gets gradually harder until you reach the final boss. It has various difficulty levels, which means the game has an excellent replayability.
The graphics are simple but very adequate, the game runs very smoothly, and there's not much more to say except - go try it now! Without a doubt, one of the best games ever coded for the TI-92+. Thumbs up, this is a TI classic! |
