Description
|
This program reveals the tactics behind the game of matches. In the left column are the binary codes, and their sum, for the number of matches in the right column. The matches are given in five piles, with 1 - 7 matches in each pile, from the random generator. If the sum in the left column has even digits, ( ex: 402 ) you have lost. There is nothing you can do about it, since you are aloud to only take any number of matches out of one pile at a time, which inevitably will lead to the sum having one or more odd numbers: The program is in control, and will take those matches which will result in a sum with even digits, right up to the end, when the sum can become smaller than or equal to five, when it will change tactics to an odd number, to serve you the last match, and you have lost. If however the sum to begin with, has one or more odd numbers, you have the chance to beat the program by using the tactics described above.
