TI third-party programmers have always had a field day extending the capabilities of graphing calculators beyond their intended uses. One of the most often implemented is sound, created by oscillating the voltage of the linkport rapidly. One of the best and smallest is Florent Dhordain's Songplay. You simply run Songplay, type in the name of a song, and it plays! The program seems bug free and stable; my only major complaint is the lack of support for it. There are hardly any songs available for Songplay. Also, the type-in-a-name interface is somewhat clumsy, but otherwise it is an excellent program and a good model for anyone looking to implement sound in their own programs.
