Attention span: 9/10 Hours of gameplay.
Controls: 10/10 What can I say?
Implementation: 9/10 Based on FF series.
Overall: 9/10 Great game for fun.

Final Fantasy: the Defender was written by Sean Kelly. This game, as you can guess, is very similiar to the Final Fantasy series. For those of you who don't know about the FF series, well they are RPGs game where you control a character and you go around doing certain tasks and fighting monster.

In this game, you control a character and you must go around the many towns of the game and fight different enemies. The objective of the game is to go around and help defend the towns that ask. You also have to visit every town and fight a duel with another knight. As you fight, you gain experience and your level increases; when your level increases, your hit points get higher and your mana points get higher. But of course, to make it challenging, the enemies get stronger too.

The graphics for this game, I must say, are really good. Well it is a BASIC game, but the graphics are good, plus the game isn't too slow. In the battle, the player and the enemy take turns attacking each other. The controls are very simple since you use the directional pad to move and the ENTER key to make choices.

In conclusion, if you are an old RPG fan or just new to the series, I suggest you go and download this game and try it out. It is good and should last you many hours.
